The name is unfamiliar, at least for the moment. But this designer-shoe store in the meatpacking district has the potential to give the neighborhood's other footwear powerhouses (Christian Louboutin, Jeffrey New York) a serious run for the money. Iris is a little-known Italian company that manufactures shoes for Marc Jacobs, John Galliano, Chloé, Viktor & Rolf, Veronique Branquinho, and Paul Smith. But unlike other multibrand stores, this boutique doesn't carry just selected looks from those powerhouse names; it will have every single style (stiletto, boot, slingback, peep toe, platform) in the entire line of each label.
