Profile
This venue is now closed.
From the outside, this go-go bar in the shadows of the BQE looks like a dilapidated rowhouse adjacent to a couple of sex shops. If you watch awhile, however, you’ll see that the men opening the iron gate are greeted by an abuela who's taking a cover charge. Inside, "Dominicanas con ganas" ("Dominicans with urges") writhe on a small riser that runs down one side of a narrow barroom. Don't look for overstuffed club seats at this seedy hip-hop dive: Stools at the long bar are your only option. That is, unless you venture beyond the swinging doors into a backroom of semi-private wooden benches.
